Brooke Photography Scholarship: Danielle Bowman Artist Award

It's that time of year again for our annual scholarship!
This award is in memory of my cousin Danielle. I solely believe I would not be in photography if it wasn't for her. She loved the camera and loved to model and when we were growing up we would always go around and do shoots. It was awesome and that's when I really started to fall in love with photography. God blessed me with her inspiration and she gave me the courage to pursue my new found love. I know that she would want nothing but to help someone else out who is passionate about their art, whatever form of art that would be.

So with that we are giving away $1000 to any high school senior starting college in the fall / first year college freshman. Please submit to us a one-two page essay as to why you should receive this award, what your passion is and why you want to share that passion with the world. Along with the essay please send us a sample of your work whether that be music, paintings, photographs, your best modeling photo - you get the picture! E-mail all entries to brookeandpedro@gmail.com.
We are going to pick the top 5 and then have our blog readers vote for which entry they think should receive it!
Rules & Regs:
All entries should be in no later than January 30th, 2012.
Winners will be selected by January 31st, 2012.
No late submissions will be accepted.
Must be a resident of the US to be eligible.
Artistic Entries will be accepted via: portfolio site, youtube, or mail.
