The scoop... :)

I took this today...:) I'm so glad he's happy. Well most of the time! lolI have two days until my official "Nov/Dec" vacation is done! Between you and me I'm very ready to get back in the swing of things! I have 4 more weddings coming up between now and Feb and I'm so ready! (Did I already say that? lol) I usually am crazy busy during the year...shooting, editing, designing that it was really nice for a break. We decided during off season (Dec-March) that Bex will be staying home with me instead of going to the sitter! I have been able to spend some much needed time with him, especially since after I had him it was only 3 weeks before I had a wedding to do and of course from there the season began. So it's been a nice change not to have to head straight to the computer once I wake up but instead take care of my little guy. :)

As you can probably tell Bex likes attention.. I don't know where he would get that from!? I think Pedro might know. lol But I can't be on the computer when he's awake or he crawls over here and pushes buttons. This is definitely not fun when you just wrote the longest message of your life on facebook and he pushes the esc key. "bye bye message." So I am trying to become adjusted to his schedule and well not being on the computer 24/7. (very hard!)

 I took some traditional photos for my mom for Christmas...although I'm not much for that style.. I absolutely loved his face in this photo! :)

Oh yes how could I forget during my little mini-vaca I had some time to read some books.. some.. well.. ok a lot of books. I first started off with Dave Ramsey's Money Makeover book which was fantastic! I decided to take his words into action and create a 3 year plan! Pedro just LOVVVVVVVEEEED that! lol. This was book very inspiring and an eye-opener. For instance I calculated it and we spent over are you ready for this... $3500 (yes $3500!!!) on drinks. I'm not talking alcoholic beverages here.. i'm sayin' coffee and slushies from speedway (my weakness)....mmmhmmm yes.. That's too much money. I will stick with Foldgers! It's amazing that amount of money you spend on useless things. I hate it when you get money and then 3 days later you have $20 left and you didn't even buy anything! But hopefully with Dave's help we will get all of that taken care of.

 Now.. I've been waiting to share this with everyone.... I did not realize what all the fuss about Twilight was. Now wait. if you don't like twilight just keep reading. Ok.. so a friend of mine, Hannah told me "heather you have to read these books." I was thinking ok.. ? What's the big deal. First off I don't like vampires or anything of that nature. Shoot... I can hardly stand to watch Star Wars. But she insisted saying she had never read anything like it. Ok so I took her up on it. I was already done with Money Makeover so I thought hmmm. I'll just see what this is about. OMG! I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Seriously, your world disappears when you read these books. I know you may think that sounds absolutely absurd but it's true! If you are at a bookstore and wanting to buy a book.. don't let the size intimidate you just buy it. Because there will come a day where you just want to escape. Who knows maybe your wedding planning isn't going according to plan.. or work sucks, whatever it may be... if you want to take a break from reality.. you have got to read these books. I can't explain it. Edward & Bella the main couple.. wow.. you immediately fall in love with them and their story. I don't know of too many people who didn't like the movie The Notebook well... if you liked that then I guarantee that you will like these books! They are outstanding. I can't stress it enough. I'm on the 3rd book and have yet to be disappointed! So here's the thing if you do go ahead and purchase Twilight and you love it because I know you will you have to come and tell me all about it! I'm seriously thinking about starting a twilight book club or something. (I know sounds super nerdy but.. hey.. when you read these you will find out exactly what i mean!) lol.
