"Man proposes to girlfriend using movie theater's big screen"

Hi everyone! I just had to share this story! The other day Chris wrote me and said,

"Brooke, I was reading through your page and were taking this to
the Today Show sometime soon but I tried something new while
proposing. Look at the attached link which is the News Paper where I
live and see if this was something new."

What he sent was one of the most original proposals I have ever even heard of! He sent me this article that FortWayne.com wrote about how he popped the question. Here's what it said...

Some women might think it was over the top, but Maya Kaczmarek said yes with no reservations. That a dozen friends and relatives - and another dozen or so complete strangers - watched Chris Palevich's proposal of marriage to her on a movie screen didn't rattle her.

“I really liked it,” she said later. “I could tell he put a lot of work into it.”

That might be an understatement. For about three months, Palevich had been working on the proposal video and plotting the date of a lifetime with management at Regal 14 Cinemas at Coldwater Crossing.

Monday night, he took Kaczmarek to the 6:55 p.m. showing of “Four Christmases.” But before the advertisements or trailers began, the blue screen of a DVD player appeared on the movie screen.

“I saw it was a DVD, and I thought, ‘This is a rip-off,'” Kaczmarek said.

Then the video began, with Palevich's declaration of love, followed by 10 people being interviewed on their thoughts about marriage, love and commitment.

“He talked to everybody - my professors, random people, my boss at Pizza Hut,” said Kaczmarek, who is a senior at IPFW, preparing for a career in public relations.

After the 10-minute video ended, she embraced Palevich, and their families and friends surrounded them in the theater. Other moviegoers, taken by surprise, watched from their seats.

Oh he also sent me the video that was played! Take a look at this. Pedro and I were blown away. This took so much thought and effort!

Absolutely amazing! Best of luck and thank you so much for sharing this with us!
